- Part-time, 28 hours, opportunity, contracted to June 2025 (likelihood for extension)

They have community centres in which provide community information and places for the community to meet and participate in a wide range of groups, classes and programs.
About the Manager of Aged Services role
The Manager of Aged Services is a key leadership role in JNC, responsible for the management of the JNC’s Aged Services Team working across the City of Sydney and Eastern Sydney. The role works at both a strategic and operational level and focusses on consistent and quality service delivery, operational planning, development of new services and business development for JNC in aged services in the context of industry reforms and strategic opportunities.
Key functions of the role include:
- Lead and participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting processes to ensure effective service delivery, community engagement, and alignment with industry reforms in Aged Services.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Aged Services, ensuring client-centered, high-quality service delivery that complies with Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality management systems, including preparation for external Quality Reviews and continuous improvement plans.
- Foster sustainable partnerships and actively participate in regional networks, promoting the organisation’s values and leading community engagement strategies.
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative work culture by modelling organisational values, supporting staff wellbeing, and encouraging cross-team collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, WHS, and legal requirements while actively engaging in professional development and contributing to the overall organisational goals.
Essential Criteria
To excel in this role, you must be an experienced leader, with experience working in the community Aged Care sector, and a strategic mindset.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in managing community aged care services using person-centeed approaches, with a deep understanding of Aged Care quality standards and upcoming aged services reforms.
- Proven leadership skills in developing, supervising, and supporting teams to achieve effective teamwork and high-quality service delivery.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a capacity to establish sustainable partnerships and participate effectively in networks.
- High-level organisational and time management skills, with demonstrated experience in strategic and operational planning, service evaluation, budgeting, and financial management.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, with cultural competency to engage diverse communities, and proficiency in IT/CRM systems used in aged care services.
