About the role

The Manager, Place Management West will provide proactive leadership and drive service excellence for a team of approximately 15 staff managing Unison’s housing portfolio in the western suburbs of Melbourne. The property portfolio includes social housing, affordable housing and supportive housing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operational management of Unison’s place management services in the western suburbs of Melbourne
  • Leading an engaged team to achieve positive outcomes for renters
  • Development and maintenance of partnerships with support providers to meet the needs of renters and maximise their participation in the community
  • Develop and manage the budget for the team
  • Ensure service delivery is compliant with legislation and Unison policies

About you

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced manager with a strong background in Community Housing as well as:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
  • Excellent conceptual and analytic abilities
  • A strong collaborative mindset with the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Results oriented and metrics driven
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a solution orientated mindset
  • Well organised with strong attention to detail
