As the Manager of Program Development & Growth, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our department. Your primary responsibility will be to provide strategic vision, leadership, and operational management to ensure the delivery of exceptional programs. You will have the opportunity to scope and implement innovative initiatives that will elevate our department’s profile and reputation.
Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with other Managers and the VET executive team to execute the current VET roadmap strategic initiatives. Your expertise and insights will contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Reporting directly to the Director of Health Science & Community, you will have the support and guidance needed to manage departmental objectives effectively. You will also be responsible for assessing the feasibility of new initiatives and implementing them in alignment with the VET Roadmap.
To excel in this role, you should possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in program development and growth. Your ability to think outside the box and drive innovation will be highly valued.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- A sound knowledge and demonstrated significant experience and understanding of the educational area and training sector disciplines and the requirements That align within the Health, Science and Community portfolio.
- Demonstrated experience in high level planning, organisational and complex problem-solving skills which enable business units to achieve performance targets and budgets.
- A proven ability to negotiate, collaborate and foster strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent people leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to effectively lead a team in the delivery of innovative teaching and learning courses.
- Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, healthy and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and clients.
Qualifications
- AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Education; OR
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; OR
- Relevant Vocational qualification; OR
- Combination of all of the above
