About the Role
The Manager, Research Development (Discovery) plays a pivotal role within the Science Research Office, leading the successful delivery of major grant schemes for the Faculty of Science across various funders including ARC, NHMRC, and MRFF. Reporting to the Director of Research, they actively contribute to and lead initiatives in alignment with the Faculty of Science Research Strategy 2023 – 2030.
Additionally, the Manager supervises a small team and collaborates closely with the Associate Dean of Research and colleagues across the University to ensure the delivery of high-quality research and development support to the Faculty’s research staff.

Your knowledge of research funding, excellent communication abilities and demonstrated experience in fostering relationships with key stakeholders, alongside your track record in leading, coaching, and developing team members, will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
