Job Location: Pune

Roles & Responsibilities

Planning and Strategy
o Develop sales plan (annual and quarterly) for our handcrafted merchandise
o Develop marketing strategy for our product categories and craft skills across multiple craft clusters for the NGO Partners
o Preparing and managing monthly, quarterly and annual budget for sales and marketing for the NGO Partners
o Finalizing seasonal and year-round product catalogues

Business Development
o Generating B2B leads using verified channels
o Identify and grow a suitable SME client base for our range of handcrafted merchandise and eco-friendly corporate gifting products
o Responsible for building markets for our seasonal products across retail and e-commerce channels especially Holi colours (from recycling Temple flowers) and Diwali gifts
o Meet sales targets across different product categories and sales channels
o Developing quotations, proposals, and catalogues for different client requirements
o Maintain database of existing clients and customers across categories
o Account management for and sustaining client relationships
o Sales analysis and review of product categories on monthly and quarterly basis

Events & Exhibitions
o Plan for participation in relevant craft related events/ exhibitions for business growth
o Liaise with companies to conduct Corporate workshops as a means of employee engagement and sales promotion

Local Market Sales
o Work with our NGO partners and livelihood centres in MP and Maharashtra to support them in sales and marketing opportunities
o Accompany them on buyer / client visits as required

Travel: The role requires local travel within and around Maharashtra

Additional Information:
This role will require close coordination with design and program teams to innovate and develop product catalogs and service offerings

Qualification and Experience
• MBA in Marketing with minimum 5 years of experience
• Prior experience working for a sustainable brand / craft-based entity / social enterprise
• Prior experience working in a start-up environment / managing young and
dynamic teams

• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to present multiple product lines
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Superior organizational and time management skills
