The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), School of Nursing (UMSON) program at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) in Rockville, Maryland is currently recruiting for a Manager, Simulation Coordination.
The Manager, Simulation Coordination will provide oversight of all simulation activities to ensure they occur as planned in the Clinical Simulation Laboratory (CSL). The Manager will oversee the development of simulations in conjunction with the Simulation Faculty member, Simulation Training Specialists, Manager of Simulation Technology and appropriate instructional faculty members. Will actively engage in simulation activities and assignments and ensure that the schedules, resources, supplies and evaluations are accomplished.

Essential Functions:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in field or related field. Master’s degree or additional certification preferred.
Experience: Four (4) years of related experience in simulation training/coordination and evidence of training in simulation methodology. One (1) year of direct supervisory experience.
Licensure/Certification: Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Hiring Range: $84,000-$93,000 per year (commensurate with education and experience)
