About the Role
Verisk Maplecroft is a trusted advisor to clients from a range of sectors, including natural resources, financial services and consumer goods. Our international corporate risk and sustainability consulting practice is structured to provide clients with innovative and practical advice, which often leverages our unrivalled risk datasets covering over 180 issues and 198 countries globally. Within our global consulting practice, our well-established sustainable procurement and human rights team has been at the forefront of the ongoing evolution of business and human rights strategy, management, and research for over 15 years.
As a Managing Consultant, you will play a key role in the planning, design and delivery of projects. You will work closely with client teams, building strong relationships characterized by high levels of trust, and take an active role in business development (e.g. scoping, proposal writing and contributing to thought leadership pieces on key business and human rights trends). You will be expected to manage several complex human rights consulting projects simultaneously, delivering them on schedule and within agreed budgets.
You will be recognized internally as a skilled project manager with significant commercial acumen and a good grasp of international business and human rights issues. You will be a team player, willing to engage in a broad spectrum of challenging work. You will also demonstrate leadership skills, motivating and empowering others to succeed. The team at Verisk Maplecroft is highly collegiate and you will be expected to collaborate constructively with colleagues from across the business.

In addition to this you will be responsible for supporting updates to our human rights indices.
The role may involve a degree of domestic and international travel for short periods of time to attend conferences and client meetings or to meet project requirements.
This role may also offer the opportunity to relocate and work from our Singapore office for a period of two to three years.
