Tees Rivers Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and
motivated Project Officer to join our dynamic team to deliver a programme of works to reintroduce
native estuarine species and habitats in the Tees Estuary. The Project Officer will support the
Trust team in a broad range of tasks including:

  • Recreation of estuarine habitat through trialling
    the restoration of native oysters, mussels, sea grass and seaweed farming
  • Leading on the design
    and implementation of estuarine restoration projects
  • Mapping habitat suitability for species
    restoration
  • Undertaking survey and monitoring requirements on selected sites.

The individual we
are looking for will be an experienced team player with a strong aptitude for project delivery.

The
role is full-time and involves some working out of our Tees Estuary Restoration Initiative (TERI)
facility in Hartlepool and will have a competitive salary.
