We’re looking for someone with a background in Marine Biology to work on Chale Island, a private resort island in Kenya.
The position is available from the middle of June 2024
Must have a high level of English, speaking other languages would be an added bonus.
Day to day include: interactions with guests at the marine center, guiding excursions such as snorkeling, glass bottom boat and mangrove trips, presentations in the evenings. A background in scuba diving would be a great addition.
On the island our areas of conservation focus on Coral reefs, Turtles, Mangroves and Colobus monkeys.
Must be very outgoing and able to converse with guests.
Accommodation will be provided in the staff quarters on the island as well as 3 meals per day in the resorts 5* restaurant. Salary and other bonuses will be discussed later.
