Market Downstream and Innovation Department Traineeship

The current call is open to fill any potential vacant places at the Market Downstream and Innovation Department.
The trainee will be expected to carry out under supervision the following duties:
– Support the implementation of activities related to research, innovation and development projects aimed at the development of space downstream applications, such as Horizon Europe, Fundamental Elements and other EUSPA funding instruments (e.g. monitoring of projects’ amendments, reporting & payments, selection of expert monitors, reporting);
– Update the Horizon project portfolio and monitoring of the KPIs and projects results;
– Contribute to the entrepreneurship support initiatives implementation, such as hackathons, prizes, competitions for space innovators and entrepreneurs;
– Support ad hoc requests related to the research and development activities (e.g. preparation of slides and related materials);
– Coordination and organisation of events and workshops.
Furthermore, the trainee will contribute to other tasks of the Department as deemed necessary and to the overall Agency processes, such as supporting Officers in their daily tasks related to specific segment development and market monitoring activities.
