About the opportunity
The Centre for Continuing Education is looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer to support and optimise digital marketing campaigns across Google, Facebook, MailChimp and other marketing channels. CCE delivers a wide range of short professional development course training to government, non-profit and commercial organisations across Australia. You will be a part of a small team engaged in the full life-cycle of planning, implementing, reviewing and reporting in the area of digital marketing.
Your key responsibilities will be:

oversee, monitor and optimise an extensive range of Google AdWords campaigns

schedule, implement and optimise Facebook and LinkedIn campaigns and monitors their performance
-
build and schedule MailChimp campaigns
-
monitor and analyse results of marketing campaigns and communication activities that support the wider CCE marketing strategy, align to sales objectives and meet key performance indicators
-
compile standard reports, drawing data from Google Adwords, SEO reporting tools, Mailchimp, and other marketing software. Prepares presentations for inclusion in quarterly reports e.g. performance of Adwords campaigns.
About you
-
relevant bachelor’s degree and/or the equivalent in training and experience
-
advanced technical knowledge of Google applications, AdWords in particular
-
experience in setting up digital marketing campaigns eg Facebook, MailChimp
-
advanced knowledge of working with HTML templates
-
ability to prioritise and plan work activities in a fast-paced, multifaceted work environment
-
proven teamwork and collaboration skills
-
web writing and marketing copy editing skills
-
advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills that are inclusive and responsive to a diverse client base
-
excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
-
experience with Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.
