About the Role:

As the Marketing Business Lead, you’ll be an integral part of our Marketing & Sales Team. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies and operations to drive our service stream objectives. Your role will play a pivotal part in fostering organisational growth, innovation, and solidifying Uniting as a leader in the non-for-profit sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business and strategic objectives into actionable plans for the team.
  • Ensure team members have the necessary resources and support for high-quality work.
  • Develop marketing strategies, including customer value propositions and key messaging.
  • Implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase market share and meet performance targets.
  • Manage marketing materials, including collateral, messaging, and communications channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the team in stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain strong internal and external relationships and act as a brand ambassador.
  • Manage budget objectives and drive consistency with corporate guidelines.
  • Analyse markets and identify marketing-related risks and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 8 or more years’ experience in marketing or related roles.
  • Leadership experience as you will manage a small team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
  • Experience in budget management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex organisations and manage through influence.
  • Passion for social change and community service (preferred).
