Dress for Success is on a mission to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. As a registered charity, we provide our services free of charge to vulnerable women in NSW and ACT.

We are looking for an exceptional Marketing, Communication and Digital Manager to join our team on a full time, 12-month contract for parental leave coverage.

THE ROLE

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team in an organisation with real purpose. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing and communication strategy.

The purpose of this role is to support and drive client acquisition and experience, partnership acquisition, and Supporter and Volunteer engagement. Increasing brand awareness is also an important part of this role, ensuring consistent voice and messaging across all channels and audiences, helping to drive donations so that we can increase our impact.

This position will contribute to the delivery of best-practice, innovative marketing, and communication strategies, within budget constraints, and will work to ensure that our promotional activities align with our organisation’s objectives and values.

ABOUT YOU

The Marketing, Communications and Digital Manager must have broad marketing and communications skills, with a strong working knowledge of marketing strategy, brand management, data management and the various marketing communications channels from social media to events and PR.

Extensive experience in managing various marketing campaigns and marketing budgets is vital, as is exceptional attention to detail, innovative thinking and time management skills. As a results-driven person, the ability to leverage data and analytics to generate a strong ROI is essential.

The role involves partnering with other team members and taking the lead in places, so it’s important that you can work both independently and collaboratively. This requires confidence, sound thinking and the ability to foster strong relationships.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate these essential skills and experience:

  • Proven track record in delivering successful, high-quality marketing and communications campaigns from concept to completion
  • Demonstrated organisational and project management skills and the ability to manage competing tasks and priorities
  • Well established digital capability and mindset, including experience with CRM (Salesforce preferred), social media, digital advertising, website management, EDMs, surveys and ticketing platforms
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, a demonstrated professional communication style with high level attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem solving skills with a solution-orientated approach
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, small team dynamic, being flexible and able to adapt
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or related fields
  • Passionate and committed to supporting and enhancing the lives of women
  • Ability to engage and interact with people from all walks of life

In addition, the following skills are desirable but not essential:

  • Not for Profit and fundraising experience
  • Working with volunteers or teams who do not report directly to the position
  • Graphic design fundamentals (Canva)
