If so, you could be our next Marketing Copywriter and SEO Analyst.Quarto creates inspiring books for adults and children published across the globe. As a Marketing Copywriter and SEO Analyst, you’ll be pivotal in boosting our titles’ reach and impact, helping to drive sales and playing a key role in our continued success.Contract PermanentSalary Starting from £30,000Closing date 2 July 2024Working hours35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We currently operate a discretionary hybrid model, with three days in our London office and two working from home.About the roleAs a Marketing Copywriter & SEO Analyst, your primary purpose is to help craft compelling marketing copy that resonates with readers and drives book sales. Leveraging your expertise in persuasive writing and SEO, you will play a key role in enhancing the discoverability and sales performance of our UK imprint adult and children’s titles.What you will be involved in:

  • Crafting compelling and accurate marketing copy for our frontlist adult and children’s titles, leveraging your understanding of reader psychology to drive engagement and sales
  • Creating persuasive narratives that highlight the unique value propositions of each book and resonate with our target audience
  • Developing and executing SEO strategies to enhance the visibility and search rankings of our frontlist and backlist titles
  • Using analytics tools to track and analyse sales data, website traffic, and consumer engagement metrics
  • Collaborating closely with many different teams in the business, including editorial, marketing, and sales

About youYou will thrive in this role if you can write persuasive copy for multiple audiences, have a love of data, and a deep understanding of SEO principles. You must possess a minimum of three years of copywriting experience in advertising, direct marketing, promotion, or publishing.You will be able to show you can:

  • Craft compelling and accurate marketing copy
  • Create persuasive narratives that highlight the unique selling points of each title
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to enhance visibility and search rankings of frontlist and backlist titles
  • Analyse data to help inform publishing decisions
  • Organise your own work effectively
