Marketing Director in New York, New York

Description Looking for a Director of Marketing for a luxury hospitality group in the F& B space permanent ONSITE IN NYC. You will be responsible for supporting restaurant and marketing efforts including operationalizing the department – defining process and procedures to support integrated marketing planning, channel strategies, local marketing efforts, event management, vendor management, creative processes, training, resource & platform management.

Responsibilities: · define monthly & quarterly planning calendar to align and find synergies across common themes, campaigns, tentpole events across all brands. · Cascade and operationalize processes for marketing managers to execute, track and support initiatives while allowing for local windows of opportunity and customization. · Design on premise holidays, events, special menus, festivals, guest visits, etc and Plan off premise appearance at events, festivals, charity functions, etc. · Handle partnerships · Outreach to concierges, event planners, key executive assistants, selected businesses, competing private dining departments · Plan and oversee development of digital content / news which can be used in all marketing channels and tactical avenues · Improve search engine optimization, Maintain and seek improvements to website(s), Oversee email marketing · Track and impact presence and activity on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. · Compile integrated documents to organize PR & Creative agencies and initiatives so that we can better align our efforts to positive business outcomes (status reports and planning documents) · Oversee preparation and structure of integrated marketing activity & performance reports for leadership and board meetings · Align and define monthly, quarterly and annual goals for marketing · Assist in developing/streamlining critical marketing materials needed to sell our event spaces (virtual tours, menus, landing pages, photography) Requirements Requirements: · Minimum 7-10 years relevant experience in marketing, communications strategy and/or operations, either on agency side or in-house, in food and beverage, lifestyle or hospitality industries · Experience in corporate marketing, integrated planning, brand strategy and working with notable figures, and managing communications programs · Solid, proven leadership skills, including having managed a team for at least four years · Excellent detail oriented writing and editing skills · Proactive, detail oriented and positive communicator · Readily adjusts to circumstances and manages change effectively · Ability to multitask and remain organized · Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management Innovation starts with people.®
