About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, (this role is known internally as a Senior Marketing Lead). The role leads the marketing activities for the health, research and advocacy portfolios. You will develop, implement and execute marketing activities to help support the strategic direction of the Heart Foundation.
Specifically you will:
- Build strength of the Foundation’s health and research programs
- Manage marketing channel planning activities including ATL media buys and BTL owned channels
- Report effectively on all marketing activities and explore opportunities for optimisation
- Develop key promotional assets and support sponsorship and industry engagement
- Lead, mentor and manage a small team of marketing specialists
Your experience
You bring extensive experience in a similar senior marketing role including experience in a health-related context. You will preferably have experience running advertising campaigns targeted directly at health professionals. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in developing and delivering integrated brand campaigns including channel planning across paid, owned and earned channels and end to end campaign delivery
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with multiple agency partners to deliver integrated marketing campaigns
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the capability to present with ease and to build interest and buy in, as well as the skills to work collaboratively and consultatively with internal stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or health promotion, or an equivalent
