This could be the perfect role for a senior marketing executive looking to make the step up or an experienced marketing manager looking for a new challenge. Working closely with the senior leadership team, your role will be to build a positive view of the Athona brand across our key market sectors and increase awareness of the Athona brand across all mediums and to all audiences.Working as the Marketing Manager, your work will also be integral to the development and growth of the company, assisting in developing key campaigns that will effectively and innovatively promote our mission and values. You will need to deliver high levels of marketing expertise to all areas of the business in-line with set business objectives and will be responsible for the development, research and delivery of strategies to attract and retain healthcare professionals, as well as internal staff, driving candidates through to teams and providing a constant flow of new talent.Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will provide ongoing marketing expertise, drive day-to-day activities of our healthcare divisions and generate new ideas.This is an exciting time for you to be joining the team as you will also have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working as part of our ongoing projects, which in turn will help to broaden your recruitment marketing knowledge.For this role, you will be responsible for:
- Effectively leading and developing the marketing team (Senior Marketing Executive, Marketing Executive & Marketing Assistant) to achieve set performance objectives
- Working closely with the Sales Directors and team leads to create robust and effective marketing plans, delivering sales and business objectives for each business area
- Using your expertise to create a strong brand for Athona in the marketplace through social media management, email communications, website management and suitable PR and corporate communications
- Creatively designing new and engaging templates, including, social media assets and e-marketing templates
- Leading the team to create compelling content, graphics, video and promotional materials that resonate with our target audience
- Managing social media platforms and delivering targeted social media campaigns
- Managing and reporting on the marketing spend effectiveness on a monthly basis ensuring value for money and ROI
- Working alongside agencies to drive and manage SEO/PPC and related advertising streams. This will include creating and delivering digital marketing campaigns
- Event management including exhibitions and presentations both in person and virtually
- Working closely with the recruitment teams to utilise LinkedIn and all of its functionalities
- Continuously researching and sourcing new platforms to promote Athona
- Working to ensure job descriptions are optimised and successfully generating leads for all areas of the business
- Advising and providing relevant information for tender documents
- Working collaboratively with the HR team to develop internal communications plans
What are we looking for?
- Ideally 5+ years marketing experience
- Educated to a degree level or with relevant marketing qualifications (CAM/CIM diplomas etc.) or similar
- A proactive individual who is self-motivated and has a creative approach to work
- The ability to effectively manage, support and develop junior team members
- A strong understanding of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Google Products (GA4, Ads, Search Console, Tag Manager), WordPress, Canva, SproutSocial and DotDigital (or similar)
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Keen interest in design and a great eye for detail
- Organised with a proactive approach to work and someone who is accustomed to working under pressure, to tight deadlines and multi-tasking.
