If you are ready to join an international company with talent around the world, and want to make a real impact, we want you on our team.What Will Be Your Environment:This role is based at the Center of Excellence in Hazelwood, Derbyshire, and will report to the regional marketing manager, Europe.What You’ll Do:As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for working closely with the Europe regional business and sales teams for Lubrizol Additives to develop, execute and measure marketing strategies that inform, inspire, and engage our internal and external customers whilst aligning to Lubrizol’s purpose, strategy, and values.This role will closely collaborate with the wider global Marketing Communications team on the regional execution of marketing plans, ensuring alignment with regional teams on the representation of Lubrizol in our key markets, and enhancement of our media and PR strategies. The successful candidate must have a proven ability to develop and execute on multi-platform marketing strategies, manage marketing plan execution and project budgets, and experience working across regional and global teams.Responsibilities:
- Developing marketing strategies: Create, implement and execute comprehensive marketing plans that support Lubrizol Additives business areas as well as customer initiatives in Europe, aligned with global marketing objectives.
- Content creation and management: Create engaging and localized content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, blogs, and email campaigns. Adapt global content to fit the local market and cultural nuances. Develop concepts that convert highly technical and scientific features of our products into understandable and meaningful benefits.
- Apply marketing tools and techniques to advise and help customers identify ways to improve their marketing mix to achieve their business targets.
- Brand management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing collateral, both regionally and globally. Collaborate with global teams to maintain brand guidelines.
- Media relations: Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets and journalists to secure coverage and press releases. Coordinate with global PR teams to ensure consistent messaging and maximize media exposure.
- Event management: Plan and execute regional marketing events, trade shows, and conferences, including logistics, booth design, collateral creation, KPI setting, and post-event evaluation. Collaborate with global teams for international events.
- Digital marketing: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing campaigns. Monitor digital analytics and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, sales, technical, regional and global marketing teams and marketing communications leadership, to align marketing strategies and ensure consistent messaging.
- Performance reporting: Provide regular reports on marketing communication activities, campaign performance, and ROI to regional and global stakeholders.
Skills That Make a Difference:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing, sales, or commercial/ product management experience. Ideally both in B2C and B2B environments.
- Lubricant industry experience and/or OEM knowledge is advantageous.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Extensive experience in project management and marketing plan development and execution.
- Ability to interact with diverse groups of people, develop strong networks and build credibility within the organization to work with stakeholders on engaging content.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills focused on conveying complex information.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Impact orientation, focused on delivering quantifiable results.
- An ability to develop and influence new marketing concepts and techniques.
- Ability to grasp complex technical and business issues and articulate them simply.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Creative flair and an attention to detail.
- Ability to travel (regionally and potentially globally) up to 20%

- Experience of copywriting and proofreading, particularly for technical industries.
- Experience of working in a marketing agency.
- Experience of working with marketing agencies and market research companies.
- Experience of working within a matrix organization.
- Understanding ROI economics and financial reporting.
