About our Organisation
The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity which works across the spectrum of
human health, the environment and animal welfare. That’s because we cannot tackle these issues
in isolation.
We campaign for change, we support farming innovation, we serve healthy food in communities, we
support and grow the organic market, and we protect forests. We couldn’t do any of this without
our supporters, partners, donors and dedicated staff. We make a difference in the world
where it’s needed the most.
About the Opportunity
Soil Association Exchange is a service for all UK farmers to help them farm in a way that
improves the climate, protects nature and enhances their profitability. Exchange works with
farmers to measure their environmental impact and provides advice and financial incentives on
how the farm can improve.
Soil Association Exchange is a fast-paced, commercial startup that spun out of the Soil
Association charity in 2022. Exchange is already working with hundreds of farmers and
businesses including M&S, Sainsburys, Lloyds Banking Group and Riverford.
This role will be to lead the creation of world class content that promotes Exchange, showcases
our expertise, farmers and businesses we work with as well as engages our community.
About You
This role will be critical in creating our content that will help power our marketing plan.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll be a creative lead, that will be comfortable
producing assets as varied as video, social media posts and email comms. One day you’ll be on
the road, filming the experience of one of our Exchange farmers for a social media campaign,
the next day you’ll be writing our latest email campaign that nurtures customers through our
product. You’ll bring creativity and flair to the role, thinking of new ways that we can tell
our story and cut through. You’ll live our brand values and purpose, and ensure that they are
reflected in the way our brand turns up creatively.
