Make a difference every day!Job DescriptionWe have an outstanding benefits package which includes:Company-provided healthcareA competitive annual leave allowanceFlexible working options, including hybrid working arrangementsGenerous pension provisionsIncome protectionHealth and wellness benefitsVolunteering daysEnhanced parental leaveLife insuranceWhat we are looking for:Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of the UK Investment Trust landscape, including the evolving market structure and dynamics, regulatory and political factors, competitor landscape and associated client needs/requirementsSupporting the development of the marketing strategy and campaign planning for the channel, targeting both the professional and the increasingly important end-consumer audiencesInitiating and delivering high-quality integrated marketing programmes/campaigns for the target audiences, with a strong emphasis on innovative digital engagement, leveraging the expertise of the wider Invesco marketing teams and agencies as appropriate and working with strategic partners and third parties as relevantManaging the associated budget, measurement and reporting requirements required for each marketing programme/campaign, including reporting to key stakeholders on activity for the client segmentDriving, managing and overseeing the content strategy for the channel, working closely with the Distribution and Content teams to identify requirements and seek opportunities to produce new content and promote in the most appropriate mediaLeverage relevant content wherever possible across both Invesco and third-party distribution channelsWorking closely with marketing colleagues to organise investment trust-specific events and attendance at relevant third-party events, both professional and end-consumer focusedWorking with digital colleagues to enhance and maintain an engaging investment trust web presence which can act as an appropriate destination for digitally driven trafficDelivering engaging shareholder communications: collaborate with Invesco Media Relations/external media agency to drive individual trust and manager positioningPrepare presentation slides to input into quarterly Board reports and present at trust Board meetings from a marketing perspectiveBuild strong trusted advisor relationships with the BoardsWorking closely with marketing colleagues in the UK (and EMEA where relevant) to develop ideas for increased efficiencies in working practices and leverage of ideas where appropriateWhat you can bring:Proven marketing communications experience within the financial services industryProven marketing campaign management experience, with an emphasis on digital deliveryExperience of working with external agencies desirableAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communicator with an ability to build trusted relationships with business partners (e.g. Trust Boards, Sales and Investment teams)Confident self-starter who can proactively anticipates needs and requirements and manage their own time to deliver to tight deadlinesEntrepreneurial mindset to define and continuously improve on the effectiveness of our campaignsTrustworthy, diligent & personable team player that seeks to collaborate with peersStrong interpersonal skills which will enable strong working relationships with key internal and external business partnersEffective verbal, written and visual communication skills to ensure maximum impactA high degree of accuracy and attention to detail which inspires confidenceDisability Confident SchemeApplicants who opt in to the Disability Confident Scheme and meet the ‘minimum criteria’ for the role will be offered an interview.
