The Office Print Global Marketing organization is on a mission to hire a seasoned and dynamic Segment Strategy Marketing Manager with demonstrated in-depth expertise and passion for B2B programs.

In this role you will be responsible for developing strategic marketing planning, partnering and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and markets, acting as a key player in the growth of the HP Office Print business globally.

You will develop and execute marketing (and co-marketing) programs, using a strong mix of skills and abilities including segment trend analysis, strategic content creation (with strong emphasis on effective storytelling) and cross-functional marketing collaboration (brand, performance marketing, go-to-market, product, etc.) to achieve shared strategic objectives. The role requires deep understanding of B2B digital marketing programs and the needs and expectations of commercial audiences, as well as awareness of industry and market trends.

Segment Strategy Marketing Manager

Develop segment marketing strategic plans through in-depth monitoring and exploring of customer trends and opportunities, leveraging data and competitive analysis to develop insightful and innovative programs.

Understand macro trends and industry trends specific to the segment and translate relevant insights into effective customer facing narratives.

Develop and execute result-driven segment marketing (and co-marketing) programs, consistently achieving ambitious goals.

Work closely with the product marketing team on future product and solutions roadmap plans and associated business cases, product launch plans and lifecycle management relevant to the segment.

Generate a constant flow of innovative content to boost demand generation through existing HP owned channels and identify new opportunities for brand growth and audience engagement.

Previous experience in managing ABM and CRM programs for acquisition, retention, engagement programs is highly valued.

Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

Anticipate and reflect on market and segment trends; write insightful marketing content and programs that will resonate with target audience.

Develop and deliver segment specific marketing strategy plans and content with the goal to drive measurable impact and growth.

Identify key acquisition, cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and determine the most viable channel mix to maximize opportunity for success.

Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams (brand, performance marketing, go-to-market, product, etc.) to achieve shared strategic objectives.

Plan and execute a successful roadmap of thought leadership content and editorial.

Assess our products and solutions against competition, and when possible, test concepts with existing customers.

Build relevant segment/customer stories.

Type of Experience Needed

8+ years of experience in Marketing and Communications with at least 3 years of experience in B2B.

Prior experience in ABM and CRM highly valued.

Excellent English with strong copywriting skills.

Structured approach combined with strong creative acumen.

Genuine love for marketing and technology, coupled with a curiosity for new developments and opportunities in the field.

Experience with managing budgets and external providers.

In-depth understanding of segment trends and established contacts with industry relevant media / analyst groups.

Results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and speed to market.

Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives.

Understanding of the importance of timely execution and urgency in achieving marketing objectives.

Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.

Flexibility and the ability to pivot when changes occur rapidly.

Desire to grow professionally through ongoing education.

Education

BA in Marketing & Communications or related field, MBA or similar preferred.
