A Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is an individual who plays a vital role in monitoring and evaluating the performance of projects and programs within an organization. It collects and analyzes data to provide regular reports that help in making strategic decisions and improving business performance.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
2. Data collection: Collect and analyze data and information necessary to evaluate performance, and to understand the impact of the activities carried out on the participants, through periodic reports and field observations.
3. Provide reports showing the stages of project progress, to indicate the strengths and weaknesses of the implemented activities and evaluate the quality of the project..
4. Supervising the project’s hotline, in addition to analyzing the complaints of the participants and submitting proposals and solutions..
5. Carrying out field visits to the areas specified within the scope of the project, for the purpose of following up the progress of the work plan and diagnosing any problems..
6. Follow up any task or assignment issued by the project management and implement it in line with the activities held.
7. Follow up the creation of a database for the project and archive the files to facilitate reference at any time.
8. Measuring the indicators of the project and the extent of its impact on the groups participating in the implemented activities and the community in general.
9. Provide recommendations to improve performance and enhance program implementation based on data analysis collected.
10. Preparing reports: Preparing periodic reports for project evaluation (activity reports, quarterly reports and final reports of the project)
11. Collaborate with teams: Collaborate with different work teams to ensure the implementation of recommendations and the achievement of set goals.
2. Good communication with various parties, including the management of the organization, to communicate results and recommendations clearly.
3. Ability to use research and evaluation methods and tools, such as data analysis, conducting basic statistics, and using data collection programs.
4. Ability to organize work and set priorities, ensuring the timely and orderly completion of tasks.
5. Ability to adapt to changes and deal with changing situations effectively, including dealing with challenges and solving problems.
6. Dealing with data and information confidentially and fairly, and adhering to professional ethics standards.
