About VOP-FAM:

Voice of Older People and Family (VOP-FAM) is dedicated to protecting vulnerable children affected by displacement and instability. Our child protection project supports both internally displaced (IDP) and host community children through case management, school re-enrollment, official document facilitation, identification and referral, awareness-raising, child protection committees, and a child-friendly center in Misirek.

Position Overview:

VOP-FAM is seeking a Female MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Assistant to support the tracking and evaluation of project activities. The MEAL Assistant will assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure the effectiveness and impact of child protection interventions. This is a part-time position suited for a dedicated professional looking to contribute to meaningful humanitarian work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of MEAL activities to assess project performance and outcomes.
• Assist in developing and using data collection tools, conducting surveys, and field visits.
• Monitor project indicators related to case management, school re-enrollment, referrals, and community awareness campaigns.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry, maintaining confidentiality and ethical data management.
• Contribute to regular reports and analysis to inform project improvements.
• Support accountability mechanisms, including feedback collection from beneficiaries.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective MEAL implementation.
