Depending on the specialist division, the MEAL Assistant Sumy is responsible for carrying out procurement activities, implementing technical measures and / or implementing social components within the framework of the specified project assignment
Tasks
Gather and collect information relevant to the execution of the WHH plan by conducting 1) over-the-phone interviews, 2) face-to-face interviews, 3) focus group discussions, 4) field monitoring visits.
• Ensure that all data is entered correctly in a secure way and seek the database manager’s support where needed.
• Provide support in data cleaning and data analysis.
• Provide support in indicator reporting.
• Support the MEAL Officer in overall data management processes.
• Support MEAL Officer in Partners’ trainings when required.
• Report any problems encountered while carrying out the allocated activities. • Be involved in monthly market monitoring.
• Participate in all professional development trainings.
• Support MEAL Officer in field monitoring visits.
• Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Promote and take an active part in quality improvement processes.
• Fulfill the assigned tasks according to the respective M&E activity’s Terms of Reference (ToRs). • Comply with labor discipline, labor protection and safety rules, fire-prevention requirements, industrial sanitation and labor hygiene rules, Safety, and Environmental regulations and guidelines.
• Ensure regular monitoring of all implemented activities specifically in Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Specific Qualification
Excel and Microsoft Office
• Intermediate to fluent level of spoken and written English
• Knowledge and experience in data collection and surveys
• Knowledge of labor discipline, labor protection and safety rules, fire-prevention requirements, industrial sanitation and labor hygiene rules.
