MEAL Officer (m/f)

in Sinjar

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration for 6 months. The place of work will be Sinjar, in Iraq (IQ). The position is paid according to SG5. (IQD 2,301,000 ) Gross salary.

Implementation of project activities according to the specified deadlines and organisational, contractual and financial directives.
Depending on the specialist division, the Expert is responsible for carrying out procurement activities, implementing technical measures and / or implementing social components within the framework of the specified project assignment.

Your responsibilities

Together with project staff, collect representative data for the baseline/ end-line reports.
Assists the Expert MEAL in managing and reporting the project activities on monthly basis to the clusters.
Recruit community mobilizers in close collaboration with the Head of Project
Process and analyze data (both qualitative and quantitative) collected by WHH staff and enumerators from needs assessments, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews with technical support from the MEAL department as required;
Train community mobilizers specifically for the above-mentioned activities;
Together with the Project Staff and MEAL department develop assessment plans with a clear research methodology, timeframe, locations and approach;
Review and update the distribution lists/attendance lists for both distributions and trainings.
Together with project staff, plan and participate in the distribution of cash/ in kind support to ensure that the accountability aspects of WHH are adhered to
Conduct PDM surveys after each distribution, write the PDM report and share it with project staff.
Conduct accountability checks and collect participant feedback
Conduct participant feedback/ satisfaction surveys
Support accountability focal point in handling the community feedback and complaints
Monitor the routine activities of the project and produce reports

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Professional/ formal qualification

University degree
1 to 3 years’ professional experience working in similar position with relevant tasks and responsibilities

Foreign language skills

Fluency in English ,Kurdish and Arabic (written and spoken),
