MEAL Officer role involves designing and managing data collection tools and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) activities to ensure accurate, timely, and usable information. Key tasks include organizing data collection processes, ensuring data quality, and supporting program teams in reporting.
They will also be supervising field teams, providing training on MEAL surveys, and supporting partner organizations in meeting Oxfam’s MEAL requirements. Officer will be leading assessments, evaluations, and partnership reviews, while ensuring timely submission of MEAL reports and beneficiary data.
Preferable candidate is to have:
- Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, or related field
- Relevant experience in data collection, analysis, customer service, and reporting
- Community mobilization and dialogue skills
- Proficient in Excel and data management software (Access, PowerBI, Smartsheets)
- Fluent in English and Ukrainian
- Experience in data collection and MEAL training delivery
- Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Politically and culturally sensitive
- Willingness to travel for project monitoring
- Self-awareness, tact, diplomacy
