Mechanical Design Engineer£32,000 – £42,000 + Mon – Fri + Company Bonus + Company BenefitsLeicesterAre you a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar, with a background in AutoCAD, looking to join a growing company who work on a variety of exciting and classified projects within the aerospace and defence industries?On offer is the opportunity to join a growing engineering company that design and manufacture cutting tools for the aerospace, automotive and defence industries across Europe.In this role, you will be working within a tight-knit design team to create technical drawings and produce designs using AutoCAD. You will also be liaising with the workshop to determine design feasibility, overseeing project planning and ensuring projects are delivered smoothly and to client specifications.This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar, with a background in AutoCAD, looking to step up and work on projects that will define their career, working on important projects within the Defence and Aerospace industry.THE ROLE

• Create technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD
• Liaise with workshop and determine design feasibility
• Oversee project planning and delivery
• On-site Mon – Fri

THE PERSON

• Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
• Background in precision engineering and AutoCAD
• Commutable to Leicester
