About OzHarvest:
OzHarvest is a leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. Through our education programs and our advocacy work, we hope to inspire others to change behaviour and help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030.
About the Role:
Are you a vibrant and dynamic digital storyteller looking to make a meaningful impact through your content? This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the amazing people of OzHarvest, collecting, curating and communicating the impact that we make. You will create and manage content for OzHarvest across our owned and earned media platforms, with a specific focus on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube.
You will work with the Media & Communications Manager on the social media strategy, generating content for our national platforms whilst supporting each state in growing their online presence. This role will help us take our social media channels to the next level!
Your responsibilities will be:
- Stakeholder and project management
- Brand custodianship
- Media and PR support
- Social media management
- Content creation
About you:
- You have a Bachelor degree preferably in business, marketing, comms or digital media
- You have 2-3 years experience in marketing/comms/social media
- You want to make a difference to people and the planet
- You have energy, positivity, passion and determination
- You want to work with amazing humans who are committed to purpose and values
- You don’t mind a fancy dress party, patting dogs at the office or eating food created by chefs for lunch
- You have a creative mind and an eye for detail
- You are a team player, excellent communicator and finder of solutions
