Media Technician

Based at our Uxbridge Campus, our Creative Media section offers a mixture of Mac and PC labs, and our students use Adobe CC Creative package, Audacity, Auto Desk, Unity, Story Border and other media-related software.  As Media Technician, you would support a variety of courses including Film & TV and Game design, and support the running of live TV based workshops.  You would maintain all media equipment and advise on replacement and new purchases, track equipment usage/booking systems and assist staff with technical support during teaching sessions.

You will ideally possess a minimum of Level 4 qualification in Media or Creative related subject area and have good working knowledge of using/operating various Media production hardware and software (both Windows and Mac platforms). Experience in using Adobe CC software is essential, together with the ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware and software to an intermediate level.  You should also be well-organised with good communication skills and be able to work flexibly when required.
