Mediation and Conflict Resolution Specialist

The Mediation and Conflict Resolution Specialist will provide technical leadership for mediation, dialogue, and conflict resolution activities under the project. The role will ensure that all interventions are conflict-sensitive, inclusive, and gender-responsive, with meaningful participation of youth and women peace groups alongside Local Peace Committees (LPCs).

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and implementation of mediation and conflict resolution activities.
• Develop training curricula, methodologies, and tools related to dialogue, mediation, and local conflict prevention.
• Support capacity building for LPCs, youth and women groups, and community stakeholders.
• Ensure LPC initiatives are conflict-sensitive and inclusive of women and youth.
• Strengthen coordination between local peace structures and relevant national or sub-national mechanisms.
• Provide technical guidance, conflict analysis, and support project reporting and documentation.
