Patient care and commitment to medicine are fundamentally important to this successful business and key to their business success is the development of their talent both within their current job and in terms of their potential for the future.They now seek an accomplished Medical Information Manager who will have responsibility for the delivery of high-quality medical information to external customers and internal colleagues (Reg Affairs, Scientific Advisors, MSL’s, Sales & Marketing).Reporting to the UK Country Manager, you will devise and implement strategy for the continuous improvement of the Medical Information department, in line with industry best practice and developments.Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure department fully complies with GDP, medical device directive guidance and ABPI code of practice
• Updating and maintaining compliance with medical information SOPs
• Delivery of response to medical information requests
• Line management of Medical Information and PV team

Technical skills and abilities:

• Extensive experience in medical information
• In depth working knowledge and awareness of ABPI code
• Reviewer of medical and marketing materials
• Analytical skills with ability to understand and simplify complex medical messages
• Ability to communicate with clarity and accuracy
• Knowledge and understanding of pharmacovigilance processes
