The Central Business Office has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Medical Posting Representative to work at UHealth Medley Campus. The Medical Posting Representative provides effective and accurate processing and posting of insurance payments and refund requests for the department and ensures compliance with guidelines.

Receives and researches potential refunds, down codes, and credit transfers.

Processes all credits and refunds in a timely fashion.

Enters charges quickly and accurately using the correct classification.

Updates department’s credit card balance database.

Deposits payments received and processes credit card payments.
-
Resolves disputes and communicates resolutions to carrier.

Researches payments to determine proper posting information and communicates findings to supervisor.

Ensures the integrity of the billing system by completing charge corrections, updates, and transfer of funds.

Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

General knowledge of office procedures and operations.

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.

Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles.
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
