We proudly employ over 4000+ people – no matter what your experience, we have jobs for everyone.We have an amazing opportunity for a Medical Secretary to join our friendly team at Ivetsey Bank Hospital, you will provide a full medical secretarial service to the Consultant-led Multi-Disciplinary Team, assisting them in achieving their objectives, organise their workload and to liaise with all relevant and appropriate servicesIvetsey Bank Hospital is a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) hospital for young people aged 12-18. We specialise in supporting young people with severe or complex mental health conditions who need intensive inpatient treatment. We are dedicated to providing caring, supportive, recovery-focused treatment and we achieve this by working together with our young people, their families and other professionals. Our facilities include, Ofsted registered on-site school, High intensity suite, Occupational therapy kitchen, Gym, Outdoor sports area, including a basketball court, Three cabins for therapy, keep fit and a multi-faith cabin.Thinking about applying but have some questions – pop in and have a chat with us. What you’ll be doing:Take receipt of all correspondence, ensuring that the appropriate action is takenManage and co-ordinate electronic diariesAct as the focal point of contact and be responsible for the dissemination of information, messages and enquiries, liaising with multi-disciplinary team members, other Health Professionals and Staff, GPs, Social Workers, Service Users, Carers, and any other appropriate external agenciesAudio transcription and text processing of complex clinical letters, reports, case summaries and other correspondence as ensuring a high degree of accuracy in medical terminology and clinical detailsEntering patient data on the patient registration system on behalf of the team in a timely mannerBe responsible for preparing and ensuring that care records and all necessary paperwork is availableDevelop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, carers, members of the multi-disciplinary care team and senior professional and managerial staffWhat you’ll have:
