Expectations
- Provide high-quality writing on a wide range of scientific articles (e.g. symposium reviews, KOL interviews) within multiple therapy areas that meet client briefs.
- Develop and implement methods to evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs, including post-activity assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality educational content, working closely with internal Commercial and Publishing teams.
- Liaise directly with our clients and KOLs.
- Attend and select relevant scientific sessions for congress articles. Opportunity to attend congresses locally and internationally as required.
- Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements and ensure that all educational materials comply with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
Experience Required
- A graduate /higher academic degree (Msc, PhD, PharmD) in a communication, scientific, or medical-related degree is desirable.
- Demonstrable medical writing experience within the medical communications/medical education/pharmaceutical environment.
- The ability to adapt to a variety of therapeutic areas.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, and adopt a proactive, solution-focused approach towards client expectations, resolving queries and addressing feedback.
- An understanding of the role of pharmaceutical companies in the provision of healthcare services, and an awareness of industry codes of conduct and legal requirements.
Key Information
- Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
- Reports to: Dr Hannah Moir, Senior Medical Writer
- Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Mon-Fri
- Location: This role is based onsite in our London/Moorgate office
- High Performance working :Min 3 days in the office /week (5 days during probation)
