About the Role
We are seeking casual Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to ensure professional and effective delivery of clinical care to our residents. You will join our dedicated clinical team working in collaboration with care staff and report to the Clinical/Facility Manager.
Key Selection Criteria
- Current registration with APHRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
- A high level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent team working skills
- Extensive, recent, residential aged care experience
- A high level of clinical knowledge and experience (eg able to guide PCWs)
- Flexibility
- The ability to problem-solve medium to high level of complexity issues and know when is appropriate to escalate
- A good understanding and ability to interpret AN-ACC continuous improvement, risk management and Health and Safety
- A demonstrable working knowledge of the Aged Care Act and accreditation requirements
You will be someone who can:
- Demonstrate prior experience in aged care.
- Provide exemplary care to our residents.
- Provide appropriate and timely documentation that meets regulatory requirements.
- Undertake assessments and implement best practice interventions that bring about positive outcomes for residents, their families, and staff.
