Role: Meeting & Event Sales Manager
Location: SloughSalary / Rate of pay: From £17.00 per hourPlatinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular hotel in Slough and we have a fantastic opportunity for an Meeting & Event Sales Manager to start on immediate basis for an ongoing temporary placement.What’s in it for you?

What’s involved?

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for meetings, conferences, and events
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
• Conduct site inspections and create tailored proposals for clients
• Negotiate contracts and ensure all terms are met
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless event execution
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
• Represent the hotel at industry events and networking functions

What is needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in hotel sales, preferably in meeting and event sales
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Immediately available with no prior commitments such as holiday or notice period
• Have the right to work in the UK
