We are looking for a part-time (3-days a week) Membership Coordinator to join our team for a 12 months parental leave contract located in any of CEDA local offices (Mel, Bris, Ade, Per, Syd). This role plays an important role in member engagement, member retention and delivering exemplary customer service. The Membership Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administration and execution of membership-related activities, CEDA Learning events, and maintain precise and up to date data within the CRM and associated systems.  

Your day to day activities will include:

  • Support the implementation of membership and education strategies to retain members and recruit new ones.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and stakeholders by responding to enquiries about membership, events, or general information related to all CEDA products and services.
  • Responsible for a small number of key strategic member relationships as required.
  • Support the accurate and timely processing of all membership administration tasks, including monitoring the membership inbox and responding to all queries, maintaining CRM data, and generating reports to support membership and engagement activities.
  • Support the delivery of CEDA’s Trustee, ESG Community of Best Practice, State Advisory Council and Education programs, including contribution to program development, speaker and venue liaison, invitation and RSVP process and event support as directed.
  • Support and administer face-to-face and digital event planning and delivery as required, including working in the CRM and CMS to build, publish, and market events according to programming and marketing deadlines.
  • Provide event coordination as required and support onsite event staff support and coordination for event registration and delivery of Face to Face events.

  • proven stakeholder and customer relations skills
  • have highly developed verbal and written communication skills;
  • are a self-starter with exceptional organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
  • have high level of computer literacy and digital savvy and have the ability to adapt and learn new systems: –
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint Excel, and Outlook
  • high-level knowledge of CRM (Dynamics 365) and CMS (Kentico/Howler);
  • you are confident dealing with stakeholders and have the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • are values aligned with CEDA (trust, curiosity, brave, succeeding together, passionate for our members and greater good)

Desirable skills:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications, i.e. Bachelor of Commerce, International Business, Marketing, Communications or similar (essential)
  • Experience in business development, telephone sales and account management, communications, and events
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of membership value proposition and attraction and retention strategies.
