Membership Officer

The John Muir Trust is seeking a motivated and organised individual to help grow and maintain
the Trust’s support base through a variety of membership services and activities, including
engagement activities and events across the UK. This is a busy and rewarding job that supports
the Trust in its membership recruitment and retention objectives and includes a variety of
offline and online marketing and communications tactics. Specific responsibilities include
planning and organising the Trust’s Annual General Meeting, Members’ Gathering and supporting
Members’ and volunteering events. Working within the Development and Communications team, the
role is pivotal in supporting membership and communications objectives.

Reporting to the Membership Manager, the post holder will be a self-starter with a flexible
approach, excellent organisational skills and a passion for the outdoors and conservation
issues.
