The Development and Vision of START

Led by our well-respected DFV Clinical Governance Team, and alongside the Griffith Beacon Disrupting Violence Team the START Project will implement a cutting edge and innovative approach to work with Queensland men who use violence in relationships. With combined experience in working with men, women and children impacted by DFV this program will undergo consistent and rigorous evaluation. Collectively, we have efficiently conducted comprehensive academic and grey literature reviews and investigations on program scopes to identify what is genuinely missing in the sector! We aim to successfully address these gaps and enable men to voluntarily connect with appropriate social and service supports to facilitate conversations about their use of domestic and family violence and set clear goals to stop DFV behaviour.

SELF, TRANSFORMATION, ACCOUNTABILITY, RESPECT, TOGETHER!
