The role
Reporting to the Centre Manager – Outer East Melbourne, you will be responsible primarily for providing Men’s case management and conducting risk assessment and risk management of program participants. This role also involves developing case plans for eligible clients that identify a range of realistic and achievable change goals and engage each client with other social and universal services as appropriate. The role may also include the facilitation of Men’s Behaviour Change Programs.
This role is located across our Kew and Boronia centres, and is part-time, 3 days a week. for a fixed term until June 2024, with the potential to extend depending on ongoing funding.
About you
- Qualification in social work, or a related social science discipline.
- Completion of ‘No to Violence’ Graduate Certificate in Client Assessment and Case Management (Male Family Violence), or significant relevant group work experience.
- Demonstrated experience with a range of family violence and the ability to articulate a practise framework including engagement and assessment.
- Experience in the provision of high-quality risk assessments of individuals and families, where family violence is an identified risk.

The base salary range is $92k-$99k (pro-rata) per annum.
