The role
The purpose of this role (known as Workforce Wellbeing Consultant internally at RMH) is to provide a vital part in supporting the holistic wellbeing of our staff through a range of comprehensive strategies, programs, and training initiatives. This role will suit an experienced Mental Health clinician with a background in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing.
Reporting to the Manager of Workplace Wellbeing, you will join a tight-knit and cohesive team of Nursing and Allied Health professionals. Each member is empathic and genuinely cares about supporting one another to achieve the best outcomes possible. We understand the importance of collaboration and solidarity, and we actively work together to uplift and empower each other.
Key Outcomes:
- Deliver wellbeing activities for RMH healthcare staff across various settings.
- Collaborate with managers and senior staff on new wellbeing initiatives and projects.
- Utilize your skills in workplace-related stress, including Psychological First Aid.
- Facilitate group discussions and deliver training sessions effectively.
- Provide critical incident response post critical incidents / cumulative stress.
- Conduct comprehensive research and deliver reports as required.
- Demonstrate flexibility and effective time management in a large organisation.
