Merchandising Assistant

Position Overview: The Merchandising Assistant supports the Buyer and Merchandising Lead in planning and executing the assortment of products for our four Park Store locations. The seasonal nature of our work creates distinctive annual cycles of planning and operations. During the busy summer season, this position serves as an important liaison between the stores, warehouse, and office. During the winter season, this position plans assortments and creates store planograms. By helping to maximize retail sales, this position plays a critical role in fulfilling our mission to preserve and protect Glacier National Park.

Essential Functions:
Store Merchandising and Operations
Take the lead in setting up the stores, coordinating signage, and supporting general store operations during the busy summer season.

General Warehouse Support
Cross train in a broad range of warehouse duties, serve as a liaison between the stores and warehouse, and spot check inventory counts.

Product Assortment and Planning
Assist with planning the product assortment and merchandising for each store location to maximize sales and the shopping experience.
