Conduct the training in one day of training sessions and do the follow-up sessions for each session with participants within 2
Conduct pre-post evaluations to assess the participants knowledge and capacity
Deliver training on MHPSS integration with livelihood , basic counseling skills, other MH topics according to the needs, using different methodologies to keep the facilitation varied and lively
Ensure completion and analysis of pre-/post- knowledge tests
Strong understanding of humanitarian contexts and expected challenges, and a good understanding of typical mental health issues.
Reporting after each training subject is required
Provide training in the identification, management and referral for selected priority mental health conditions for general health care providers adapted to the local context
Liaise with the MHPSS specialist and provide all required outputs on time.
Conduct case-by-case needs assessments for the diagnosis of psychological disorders.
Document progress on cases, maintaining strict protocols for confidentiality and consent.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Person specification
University educated a relevant field, preferably psychology, social work.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in training, MHPSS, psychosocial work.
Proven experience in facilitation ,training skills .
