Job description

You will;

  • Work with SMT to define the technology platforms necessary to underpin the company’s current and aspirational new product and service offerings.
  • Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies across Azure IaaS, PaaS and Office 365 as well as experience with legacy on premise products
  • Work with the SMT on technology organisation strategy and change management including recruitment and disciplinary activities
  • Provide line management leadership for the technical architects and professional service consultants across the cloud, infrastructure and application development teams
  • Maintain and evolve presales templates and support technical consultants with ongoing presales tender responses and proposal generation
  • Maintain and evolve professional service templates for statement of works, high and low level designs and support technical consultants with ongoing project deliverables
  • Act as an escalation point for internal and external stakeholders for product development, technical presales and project issues
  • Contribute to process, technical and operational documentation to support the current and future ISO accreditations
  • Develop the appropriate training program to maximise retention of current Microsoft competencies and offer the best personal development opportunities for staff in line with the company’s business drivers
  • Set appropriate performance KPIs and objective and oversee periodic reviews with technical staff and line managers
  • Ensure that technology investments are made effectively and deliver on the needs of the business, its customers and the company’s strategic ambitions.

Requirements:

  • Experience at a consultancy practice lead in a fast-paced, high-growth business
  • Senior team leadership experience
  • Ambitious and motivated, with a strong sense of urgency for completing and following through on tasks and resolving challenges.
  • A passionate leader who creates and sustains a culture of positivity, mutual respect and passion where people are highly motivated.
  • Understand the fundamentals of running technology teams. Well-structured and organised, able to balance the needs on the business with the needs of the team and customers/partners.

Qualification:

  • Degree 2:1 or higher
  • One or more of the following: AZ-103, AZ-300, AZ-301, AZ-500
  • MCSE Infrastructure or Productivity
