Middle School Math Teacher

Our middle school math teacher will be responsible for planning and teaching engaging lessons to all of their students.  You will have an average of 3-5 classes per day which equates to approximately 16-25 teaching hours per week.  We will provide you with textbooks and other resources to enable you to deliver interesting, fun and educational lessons every class.

Requirements:

Teaching qualification: QTS or TEFL/TESOL/CELTA

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Enthusiasm 

The ability to work independently

Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change

Proof of DBS or other criminal record check

Full time teacher (7:30 am – 4:00 pm) compensation:

RD$26,000 pesos per month rising to 28,000 in the second year

US$100 country exit fee coverage (upon completion of contract)

US$200 flight reimbursement (upon completion of contract)

Christmas Bonus

Option to tutor after school

Please note that the average salary in the Dominican Republic is approximately RD$15,000 so our compensation package makes for comfortable living.
