Key responsibilities

• Ensuring high standards of catering alongside quality and portion control for guests and staff.
• To help receive orders and with stock rotation.
• To maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness and food hygiene.
• To ensure that the kitchen, dining rooms, stores and wash up areas are kept clean and tidy (working with other members of the team)

To keep up to date with current legislation, paperwork and record keeping associated with catering.

Onsite accommodation would be considered for the right candidate.

Hours

5 days a week – usually Mon-Fri – Some weekends may be required. 

Expected hours would be 7.30am – 12noon & 4-7pm

Salary

Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. 

Minimum salary will be £22,308 Gross PA

Holidays

Holiday entitlement of 28 days inclusive of any public/bank holidays which you may choose to request.  Entitlements are pro-rata for part-time employees.  In your first holiday year your entitlement will be proportionate to the amount of time left in the holiday year. 

After 2 years’ service you will be entitled to two additional day’s annual leave.  After 4 years’ service you will be entitled to one additional day’s annual leave.  After 5 years’ service you will be entitled to one additional day’s annual leave.  Entitlements are pro-rata for part-time employees.
