Focus on our activities in SUDAN
Our mission in Sudan has been open since 2020. PUI develops its integrated approach with health and nutrition. Furthermore, PUI works on launching health and nutrition activities in support to existing health facilities in the surroundings of refugee camps, supporting local communities, refugees and asylum seekers.
With the ongoing conflict in Sudan, PUI is actively responding in surrounding states to people fleeing from the fighting in Khartoum and around.
What about the Mission Pharmacist ?
As Pharmacy Manager, under the responsibility of the Health Coordinator, you must ensure the general smooth functioning of the mission’s PUI pharmacies, ensuring adequate, quality and timely supply of medicines, consumables and medical equipment. You will be responsible for providing technical support to the teams in the field and strengthening their capacities.
For this purpose, you will be responsible for :
- Data collection, consolidation and analysis: You ensure that data collection relating to pharmaceutical management is effective, reliable and up to date. You perform regular analysis.
- Supply management: You supervise the entire supply chain, from the preparation of medical orders to their delivery.
- Flow and inventory management: You ensure adequate stock management (purchase, storage, distribution, inventory, consumption monitoring, etc.). You do everything possible to avoid drug shortages.
- Management of supplies for bases and health centers: You ensure that orders from health centers are relevant, rational, documented and delivered on time.
- Staff supervision and technical support: You provide regular technical training and contributes to strengthening the capacities of local teams.
- Reporting / Representation: You regularly report on your activities and represents the organization at external technical meetings.

What you will need to succeed
- Training You hold a degree in Pharmacy or a medical/paramedical qualification. Training in public health and/or project management would be highly valued.
- Experience Previous international humanitarian experience would be appreciated. Have you already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? That would be a definite advantage!
- Skills You have strong oral and written communication skills, solid project management knowledge, and training skills backed by a clear aptitude for pedagogy. Your ability to work in insecure environments will also be valued. Proficiency in stock management software, such as Sagastock or Isytock, would be highly appreciated.
- Qualities You possess a strong moral and ethical sense, are responsible and thorough. You respect the confidentiality required for the safety of assets, people, and financial data of the mission. You are highly organized, adaptable, and autonomous. You have a good ability to work in a team, high availability, and flexibility with working hours. Finally, you are resilient to stress, particularly in insecure situations.
- Languages You are fluent in English. Speaking French or Arabic would be a definite asset.

PUI will offer you
- Status : Employé(e) with a Fixed-Term Contract
- Monthly Gross Income : 2 190,00 – 2 420,00 EUR depending on your experience in International Solidarity + 50€ per semester of seniority with PUI
- Insurance including medical coverage and complementary healthcare, 24/24 assistance and repatriation
- Housing in collective accomodation
- Daily Living Expenses (“Per Diem”)
- Break Policy : 5 working days at 3 and 9 months + break allowance
- Paid Leaves Policy : 5 weeks of paid leaves per year + return ticket every 6 months
