Because with different perspectives, we make a global impact.The RoleResponsible for diagnosing faults and carrying out electro/mechanical repairs and maintenance work at customer premises and service partner locations. You will ensure all jobs are processed in an efficient manner and compliant with legal and/or company standards. You will provide technical cover in Fleet Operations, Mordon Wharf, for holidays and sickness and additional resource support on-site at Daimler Buses UK in Coventry when necessary. You will be responsible for communicating and liaising with both the Regional Customer Service and Technical Managers ensuring customer or technical issues are recorded and discussed. There will be extensive travel to and from customer and service partner premises, therefore you will be excellent at building & maintaining customer relationships. You will maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times, reporting any deficiencies and maintaining a high standard of presentation to promote and enhance business reputation and professionalism.About YouA recognised motor industry apprenticeship is essential. You must hold a UK Driving Licence and experience in a similar role is essential.· Qualifications in electrical/mechanical PSV repairs are desirable.· Experience of roadside recovery including relevant certification is desirable.· PCV/PSV license is desirable.· A comprehensive understanding of PSV vehicle electrical systems is essential.· Electro/mechanical knowledge relevant to the bus and coach industry is desirable.On OfferA salary of £46,300 per annum. A 42-hour working week. Overtime paid at time plus 50% basic hourly rate on weekdays and time plus 75% basic hourly rate on weekends.
