Mobilisation & Delivery Improvement Manager – Hybrid Working: Salford Quays Head Office & Home BasedMarlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Mobilisation & Delivery Improvement Manager, this will be a hybrid role with a small amount of travel as required.Basic Salary – £45,000 – £50,000 per annum subject to experiencePension, Life Assurance & much more. – Please see our generous remuneration packages belowMarlowe Fire & Security’s Mobilisation & Delivery Improvement ManagerAs Mobilisation & Delivery Improvement Manager you will ensure the successful transition of newly awarded Fire and Security contracts. This will be achieved through working closely with the Bids Team at tender stage, leading the mobilisation phase, seamlessly handing over the project to the Account Management and operations lead and supporting the operations team during the transition through to steady state. The key objective of this role is to ensure a smooth mobilisation of contracts, good relations with the client and ensuring all actions are completed and fully handed over to the operations team.

  • Manage the mobilisation process
  • Mobilise, re-mobilise and de-mobilise contracts.
  • Coordinate with multiple internal departments to ensure smooth transition and successful implementation. Engage with key stakeholders and act as the conduit to ensure all mobilisation actions are completed in the agreed timeframes.
  • Develop key milestones.
  • Chair weekly meetings/conference calls with the management and operations teams to update on the contract mobilisation progression, sharing the updated mobilisation plan.
  • Work with the bids and sales teams and key stakeholders within the business to ensure all contract agreements are implemented for the customer to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements and timelines.
  • Complete admin tasks, including but not limited to – compiling asset registers and PPM schedules for upload into the CRM system
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Chair 30, 90 and 180 day review meetings post contract start date.
  • Monitor progress and performance of contracts mobilised identifying areas for improvement. Coordinate any changes required upon review.
  • Highlight any issues or risks which may impact the successful delivery of the project, ensuring business continuity during transition.
  • Liaise with clients to address any concerns or issues.
  • Prepare and present reports to management regarding mobilisations status’
  • Supporting at presentations and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high quality services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

  • Proven experience as a Mobilisation/Project Management or similar within the fire and security industry or Facilities Management
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Project Management, Coordination or Project Engineer
  • Multi-stakeholder management
  • Understand contractual obligations/requirements of a service contract
  • Contractual administration experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & Word
  • Hybrid, working between office & home based, with occasional travel as required
