ABA ROLI seeks a Mongolian expert or lawyer who is well-connected with justice sector and judicial actors in Mongolia and has deep familiarity with the judicial system to serve as a Local Coordinator for the development of a funding proposal focused on judicial reform. Ideally, the local coordinator will also have prior experience working on proposals for or implementing US Government funded programming. The Local Coordinator’s main responsibilities will include meeting with potential partners and stakeholders to get buy-in and develop program activities, providing research and analysis support for the proposal, and reviewing the proposal draft and all attachments.
The Local Coordinator will work on a consultant contract with ABA ROLI. The position will start by 1 June 2024 and will include approximately 5-15 hours per week between 1 June and 17 July, with the workload being heavier in July. The Local Coordinator must be available evenings or mornings to have calls with ABA staff in Washington DC. The Local Coordinator must be professionally proficient in English and fluent in Mongolian.
